Aluna Bifolding Doors System
As an enhancement on the known and loved BF73 bifold system, the super slim profile sections of the ALUNA bifold system minimise the visible framework and maximise the glass area, with sightlines of just 107 mm from frame to sash.
Offering one of the largest sash sizes available, up to 1200mm wide and 3000mm high per pane, the ALUNA bifold system also has part L compliant U-values as low as 1.1 W/m2K, DER Rating B, when combined with triple-glazed glass, and is secure to PAS24.
Bifolding doors made with the ALUNA bifold system can be manufactured with up to 7 leaves each way (14 in total), opening from the left or right, towards the inside or outside of the property.
The moving corner post option enables right angled bifolding doors, including the return, to open out fully*, with the option of a fixed corner. *Structural support needs to be in place. Engineering-grade hardware allows for silky smooth opening and closing operation. Perfect to open up your space to the outdoors and create a visually stunning addition to your property.
UNIQUE UNIVERSAL LOCK KEEP
Designed exclusively for us by experienced product developers, with the fabricator in mind. It is suitable for both left and right hand sides of the doors, making it easier to order, stock and fabricate! It takes away the headache of having to stock both left-hand and right-hand lock keeps and alleviates the potential for error at the fabrication stage.
It can be easily adjusted with an allen key. There’s a reduced number of screws needed of just one type of screw and plastic alignment packers for ease of fitting. The wider faceplate gives increased strength, with diecast back boxes for hooks and centre deadbolt.
The reduced hook box depth means no confliction with the intermediate lock configuration.
